Bilingual family medicine — the whole visit in Spanish
At ICHI, Spanish is not an add-on. Your whole visit can be conducted in Spanish: front-desk check-in, medical-assistant vitals and history, provider exam, medication counseling, after-visit summary, and follow-up phone calls. Consent forms, patient education, and clinical instructions are available in Spanish. This matters — research consistently shows that when patients receive care in their preferred language, they understand instructions better, take medications more consistently, and have better outcomes.
